Reschedule
A 20% retainer is required to book your session, and it goes toward the total cost of your shoot. This retainer is non-refundable. You’re welcome to reschedule once at no cost as long as it’s done at least 42 hours before the session; reschedules within 42 hours require a small $20 fee. Weather is always an acceptable reason to reschedule if conditions aren’t ideal for photos. If you need to cancel, the retainer is forfeited. Illness happens, and rescheduling for that is completely okay — I just ask that repeated last-minute changes may require a fee. No-shows or arrivals more than 15 minutes late forfeit the session and retainer.
Rush orders
My turnaround time varies by season and session type: seniors and lifestyle sessions are typically delivered within 2–6 weeks, and weddings up to 6 months. If you need your senior or lifestyle photos sooner, I do offer rush delivery—your full gallery can be returned within 3-7 days, please inquire for rush fee.
image delivery / Edits
All final images are delivered through an online gallery where you can download and share your photos. Every selected image is individually edited for color, lighting, and overall style to match my consistent look. I do not deliver unedited or RAW photos. Minor retouching is included, and additional or specific edits can be requested. Once your gallery is delivered, it will remain available for download for 6 months, so be sure to save your images!
copy right / usage
All images remain the copyright of Ava McKamey Photography, but clients receive full personal-use rights. This means you’re welcome to print, share, and post your photos for personal enjoyment. Images may not be altered with filters, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission. I may use selected photos for my portfolio, website, or social media unless you request otherwise before your session.
model release
By booking a session, you grant Ava McKamey Photography permission to use photos from your session for portfolio, website, and social media purposes. This includes sharing images for marketing, promotional materials, and showcasing my work. If you prefer your images to remain private, just let me know before your session, and I’m happy to accommodate!
client conduct
I ask that all clients treat the session environment with kindness and respect. Please arrive on time and communicate any concerns or needs during the shoot. For the safety and comfort of everyone involved, disrespectful behavior, unsafe actions, or failure to follow instructions may result in the session being ended early without a refund. My goal is always to create a positive, relaxed experience where you feel comfortable and confident!
